Continues Investment in Executive Talent to Drive Growth

Virginia Beach, Va. - April 18, 2008 - Channel Blade, a leading provider of online marketing, lead management and sales education solutions in the marine, RV, and powersports industries, announced today that Tom Heron was appointed to the newly created position of vice president of operations on March 18, 2008.

Heron's extensive, 25-year experience covers finance, operations, engineering and marketing in the publishing and financial services industries. In his new capacity as a member of Channel Blade's executive team, he is responsible for leading the operational and customer support functions, including product development, process redesign, production management and customer satisfaction.

"Tom's wealth of diversified experience and stellar track record will be invaluable as he focuses on building a world-class customer experience through high-quality support, product delivery and process consistency," says Chuck Lewis, co-founder and managing partner of Channel Blade. "Our continued investment in recruiting executive talent is a testament to our commitment to growing both our business and our clients' businesses."

One of Heron's first initiatives is to launch a Client Advisory Council, a plan designed to formally infuse Channel Blade's operations and strategy with its clients' industry experience. "This initiative continues our history of working hand-in-hand with our clients to deliver industry-leading innovation," says Jon Lintvet, chief executive officer at Channel Blade.

Heron most recently served as vice president - production services at Harris Connect, a membership and alumni directory publishing company based in Virginia Beach, Va. Prior to that position, he successfully launched his own business, Dinners by the Dozen, an original online meal reservation system. From 1997 to 2005, Heron was instrumental in the development of several business lines for Capital One Financial, including the successful launch of three innovative, new businesses.

A lifelong outdoorsman and avid water skier, Heron is passionate about the industries Channel Blade serves. "Tom's fresh perspective has made a noticeable difference in a very short time span," says Lintvet. "Our clients are already raving about the immediate impact his focus has had on their business."

Heron spent 20 years in the Navy as a submariner and currently lives in Virginia Beach, Va. with his wife Riva, and three children Kellie, Ryan and Christopher. A registered professional engineer, Heron holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis.
