Channel Blade Technologies Congratulates Top 100 Dealers

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Nov. 15, 2005 -- Channel Blade Technologies (CBT) extends congratulations to the inaugural "Top 100 Marine Dealers" as selected by Boating Industry magazine. The award recognizes marine dealerships that exhibit high levels of customer service, achieve the greatest volume sales and experience optimal profitability from their integrated business operations.

Channel Blade extends special congratulations to the roughly one-third of the Top 100 Dealers--including four of the top five--who use the company's technology and expertise for their online marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Web presence.

MarineMax was named at the top of the "Top 100 Marine Dealers," embodying the successful modern marine dealer. MarineMax, which earlier this year garnered the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Website of the year award, is a premier client for Channel Blade.

Brett McGill, vice president of MarineMax Inc., outlined how the partnership works to bolster his bottom line. "In developing our marketing strategy, we rely heavily on Channel Blade Technologies in crafting our Website for leads, increased profitability and to give customers a powerful impression of who we are as a company," McGill explained. "This ranking offers additional proof that we're turning this resource into greater sales."

"Web strategy has direct implications for every modern marine dealership," said Charles R. "Chuck" Lewis, Channel Blade's executive vice president and managing partner.

Two of the four criteria considered by the magazine's judges were a dealership's ability to "provide customers with an experience worth returning for and recommending to others..." and to "prepare for future success with sound planning, marketing and training initiatives...."

"Companies like Channel Blade," Lewis said, "can help other dealers improve in these two key areas, where an effective Website, solid customer relationship and lead management strategies can directly impact business success.

"Whatever role Channel Blade's products and services may have played in their ranking," Lewis added, "we're pleased and proud to be associated with one-third of these top dealers in the marine industry."
